Never get intimidated by anyone — we all are sinners and have messy lives. But Jesus Christ came to redeem us, not to condemn. By His grace and righteousness, we became righteous — by His blood we are saved.

For it is by grace you have been saved through faith — and that is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
