I’ve been reflecting on my life that has known love, loss, and becoming.
I’ve loved deeply.
I’ve grieved quietly.
I’ve lived in survival & still am
Despite it all I am grateful and extremely thankful for my loved ones and my village and my folks who still show up for me even when I don’t want to show up for myself. I’ve realized I have to continue to choose love only..
I am learning to live for myself and love me as a whole
To honor where I come from,
to love the woman I am, to love the woman I was and who I am becoming by pouring into myself the same way I pour into others so I can continue this path.
Bado najifunza. Lakini sasa, najichagua. 💛 Lazima
I am still learning. But now, I choose myself - I have to
