This is episode 4 of my series Repotting My Roots where I document my move from Dallas back to Charlotte, after 10 years…

I’ve arrived. 💚🌱🪄

The Queen has arrived in the Queen City & this journey has been nothing short of amazing! To move half way across the country without a single issue further confirms that I am exactly where I’m supposed to be.

I can’t wait to experience this city after being gone a decade! I’m excited to see what it has to offer me, but more importantly, what I can offer it.

In the words of Jermaine Cole “… I had to leave these green pine trees to get it, said when I got it, I was going to bring it back & guess what? I did it..”

Tiff Tip: Make the list & check it twice because the to-do list before a move is longggg! & this list is not move related... it’s based on spending time with friends before departure, going to all your self-care appointments, couch shopping for your new space, & eating at all of your favorite spots before you leave town. 💚🌱🪄

Whew 😅 the hardest part about moving is the packing! Now that this is complete, I’m looking forward to the journey. 🚛💨

Not procrastinating the packing really put me in a state of ease… knowing I won’t be packing when the movers show up is a huge relief!

From the amount of growth, self-learning, traveling, money made, starting my business, developing life-long friendships, and too many experiences to name…

Texas has been so good to your girl! But, I’m excited about these next 10… excited for God to continue to show me just how good life can get. 💚🌱🪄

Episode 2: The Move 🔜

I stay on a random solo side quest, so I might as well make this a series. When I saw this being advertised I knew immediately I was going the next day.

Honestly, I prefer to attend events like this alone so I can shop without feeling rushed or having to consider anyone other than ME! 🤷🏾‍♀️

When I tell you this was a vinyl collectors dream, OMG! Let me know what you would’ve picked up! 👀

The only person that could deny me of plants would be myself, & why I earth would I ever do that?! 🌱

So, the answer to “Do you need more plants?” Will always be a yes from me. 😂

I am in love with my new babies! Thank you for being so intentional with the packaging. They arrived perfectly. 👌🏾
