Morning harvest. ❤️ It's my first year to grow my own cut flowers and to grow cucumbers!

Today I just needed to sew chickens.
These are the adorable blocks of the month for June at the Dallas Modern Quilt Guild!

I found some more of my work at the Dallas Quilt Show in these two great pieces by my friend, Rebecca Williams!

I did the pink row in the first one and some little trees in the second.

These were both activities in the Dallas Modern Quilt Guild, led by Shelly Sutton. The first was our Round Robin in 2024. The second was a block challenge. Super fun!!

Are you ready, Dallas? The Dallas Quilt Show is this weekend at Market Hall!

The quality of work this year is amazing, and there is something for everyone. It's pretty intimidating for my first show!!

It's not about the competition for me at all. The reason I was able to begin quilting is because early on, I saw the work of someone who did not have perfect skills, but she was having a great time and expressing herself. So, to that lady, wherever she is, this one's for you! I hope I inspire someone as you did me!

I spent all day Wednesday hanging quilts with these two very capable ladies, June and Deana. (I wonder if they are as sore as I am!)

Still playing with double batting and close stitching style!

First quit of 2025 is a mini that I'm donating to the Dallas Modern Quilt Guild. I used 's technique of double batting and close quilting, leaving the plus signs and corners bare for contrast.

Printer went out today. Can't believe it took me this long to realize my computer screen IS a light box!
