In Tao, women practice Ovarian Breathing – a way to reclaim energy stored in the ovaries that otherwise would be lost through stress and menstrual cycle🩸

This practice awakens ovarian energy and circulates it through the spine, nourishing your organs, heart, brain and nervous system. Here is how to do it step by step:

1. Sit on the edge of a chair, feet flat, spine relaxed and upright.
2. Bring awareness to both ovaries. Feel warmth gathering in the Ovarian Palace – the triangular area just below the navel.
3. On a soft inhale, lightly contract the front, middle and back of the perineum – as delicately as a flower closing. 🌸
4. Guide the warm energy from the ovaries down to the perineum, then up the spine – passing the sacrum, T-11, C-7 and into the Jade Pillow at the base of the skull.
5. When the energy reaches the head, touch your tongue to the palate and let it flow down the front of the body – through the throat, heart and solar plexus – finally collecting at the navel. 🌀
6. Repeat gently 9 times, staying connected to your breath and inner smile.
