📚✨ Book Tasting in English Class!

Students in Mrs. Caceres and Mr. Velazquez’s English classes participated in a fun Book Tasting activity! Students had the opportunity to explore different genres, sample a variety of books, and reflect by writing about their reading experiences.

It was a great way to discover new books and genres while building a love for reading! 📖❤️

Mrs Ballenger's classes didn't waste any time getting back to work. 7th Accelerated Math collaborated in groups working on analyzing congruent figures and Algebra class worked together on solving multi-step equations.

We made it through WEEK ONE, Lobos! 🎉 And what better way to wrap it up than with some BIG Walker thank-you!

PTA, YOU ROCK! A huge thank-you to our amazing Jerry R Walker Middle School PTA for bringing us breakfast pizza this morning! Nothing says “You made it through week one!” quite like pizza for breakfast!
