✨ Hi !!! A lot has happened since our last update! Brian has been busy with a few different band projects (thank you for supporting him when he was with 90 to Nothin’). Meanwhile, I was blessed to be given the all-clear from breast cancer — YAY! — and we are so grateful for all the love you showed us during that time! ...AND OUR SON GOT MARRIED!!!

Our friend and former Vinyl Crush drummer, Scott Gebel, opened the door for me to join Raised on Journey, which later split into two bands with the addition of Raised on 80s. Recently RO80s had an opening for a new lead guitarist, and I’m SO excited to share that Brian took the position! That means we’re performing together again!!!!

Had a blast last night At The TinMan Social in Little Elm.

Hopefully the rain hasn't put all to sleep because Vinal Crush is going to go LIVE here in a minute with one of our new songs. We are so sorry that we had the rain shut down our show tonight but we wanted to give you a little snapshot of what we have for our next gig next weekend, hopefully, and Little Elm we will give you more details later stay tuned for live on facebook.

Welcome the newest member of Vinyl Crush, Scott Gebel! Scott hails from Chicago and has over 25 years experience as a drummer, and has played in both a Rush and Def Leppard tribute band for several years.

"I play keyboards as well but can't sing to save my life. My drumming style is more in the vein of Nicko McBrain, Neil Peart, and Steve Smith." - Scott

VC Spotlight - We can't move to our big announcement without first talking about these two gents who have put in the time and commitment since the beginning of Vinyl Crush.

Brian McCullough, aka Manager, aka music trivia master, got us our first gig and has been one of our closest friends and biggest fans. From the beginning, Brian said, 'guys, we have got to get you playing out!' And off we went! Thank you Brian, for the countless hours of pushing and promoting us.

Ron McCaskill, aka the Wizard, is a lifelong friend. He's an accomplished musician in his own right, and an unbelievable sound engineer. We can't express enough how amazing it is to have this guy behind the music, tweaking our sound, and investing his time partnering with VC.

Shoutout & all our best to Eli...

We wanted to let you know that Eli has decided to focus more time on his family and his health and has made the tough decision to step away from Vinyl Crush. You guys who have followed and walked with Eli on his journey to recovery after a semi crossed traffic hitting Eli's truck head-on, and fracturing his back, know that this past year has not been an easy one for Eli and his family.

We are sad, but as friends who are as close as a family, we support Eli and want to give him a shoutout for being the badass drummer that he is...and for trying to teach Penny Lou to dance. WE LOVE YOU ELI!!!!

Penny Lou's love of music began as a child singing 5-part harmony with her siblings on long car trips and listening through her bedroom wall to Aerosmith, the Eagles, the Doobie Brothers, and other greats from the ’70s blasting out from her brother’s record player. She and her husband Brian, have been playing music together for over 20 years.

In our spotlight today....Brian has been playing music for over 20 years in both cover and original bands. Growing up listening to his dad's record collection and seeing bands like Chicago, Doobie Brothers, Foreigner, and ZZ Top in concert left a lasting impression.
