New acrylic painting in progress.
I love using stencils as base. It helps to just work on detailing.
I have thought several times if that's the right way to go but the I am always reminded "There is no wrong way to make pretty things"

I know I know it's terribly slow...
But I got caught up with last days of school, 5th grade graduation ceremony and long weekend.
I promise I will be done soon (this week).
I am excited to share the final product and how it will look on our door.
Who all celebrated graduation parties 🎓❓❓❓

Today's progress on my new project
I finished wrapping the twine around the metal wreath frame. I had targeted to finish more work but my hands were tired by the time I finished this.
Tomorrow I will start placing these colorful flowers. The flowers I found at Walmart clearance for $2.
I will keep you posted as I progress.

New Project Coming Up...
❓I won't say any guesses since it looks obvious. Working on a wreath.
🌷Spring is keeping Texas alive and blooming, hence I am now making my Spring Wreath which bloom all through Texas summer too.
🌻I will be posting few more sneak peek of the project.
It's gonna take time but I am excited 😄

Completed first Madhubani Journal Drawing.
👉If you spot those imperfect leaves, that's my little one adding his love and creativity to my journal.

My son traced his hand on my journal. I was tempted to decorate it. With spring around the corner, I chose to embellish his hand with colorful flowers.
I would want him to remember that I matter what life will bring his way, he can always choose to spread colors and flowers.

My Christmas DIY..
I recycled old vases.
Trying my hand in raised stencil with diy textured paint.
I am loving the raised stencil look on the vase, it's not finished yet.

Raised stencil look reached this point. It's actually blue and white.. I have reflection from light that is making it yellow .
Now I am thinking should I stop here or add more details?
My heart is definitely saying more details right now !
I am working in mini canvases to spruce up small places.

I have been lazy to order or get a textured paint for a raised stencil canvas mandala painting.
So I made a diy textured paint watching few YouTube videos and it worked !!
