If you don’t dip your fries or bread in the shrimp and grits gravy, that means the gravy ain’t good enough 👐🏾

It’s truly like an appetizer and a meal, wrapped in one.

📍 PLANO, TX
👉🏾
📸

Before you go, make a reservation. This place was PACKED on a Saturday, restaurant and patio. Local, neighborhood spot everyone hits up. It may be because the food is tasty and the brunch cocktails are cheap. We love a mimosa less than 5 bucks 🙆🏾‍♀️

The mimosa is 4 bucks 🤏🏾 Carafes are 15 🤌🏾

Alright so the food, get the shrimp and grits. Idk what I expected, but I didn’t expect to love the shrimp and grits as much as I did. Perfectly seasoned. The shrimp... JUICY.

Also, I usually try everyone’s food at the table, but I think I was just so content with my food, | let people enjoy their meals. And everybody killed it. My man was a bit sad his burger wasn’t cooked medium rare, but he loved the taste!

Not pictured, the 2 carafes we purchased and my lovely pancakes. I’II definitely be back to try this spot for dinner, I need that Cajun pasta!

Lastly, if you got kids, this place is great. Kiddos loved the food, mommy tried it too 🙌🏾

If you’re looking for a cozy brunch spot 👉🏾 check out 🫶🏾 They have 3 locations in the DFW area. Plano, Southlake, and Frisco.

Big Backs to the front 🫶🏾

This one is for you. The plate is packed and seasoned. It’s heavy. You’ll get the itis after, but it’s a good sleep. You won’t regret it.

📍ADDISON, TX

Keep in mind there are multiple locations. I went to the Addison location. Had to make this clear cause folks are confused in all the reviews 😂

Now, prior to going, I did my research. I knew I was going to get that damn chicken spaghetti and babyyyyy I’m glad I did okay. They call it chicken tetrazzini, but like I’ve never called it that so yeah 😂 Get the chicken spaghetti and report back here please.

Eats pictured ⬇️

soul bowl 🫡 catfish, 3 sides (chicken spaghetti, greens, mashed potatoes) 🔥🔥🔥
mac & cheese
cornbread
brisket mac & cheese
strawberry pound cake

Now if you google and yelp like crazy… like me… you may come across a few reviews that note salty food or service, please know ya girl did not experience any of that 😂 The only sad part was the inside of the Addison location was not open for seating (I believe renovations), so we had to smell the food and wait patiently to eat on the drive home. Worth the wait.

In full transparency, I wasn’t crazy about the brisket mac & cheese and strawberry pound cake, but not because it lacked flavor, but because it was a little too much for me. But according to the reviews, brisket mac is a fave.

Also, a heads up, the soul bowl is 30 bucks, and I’d pay that much again…and again 💸 The fried catfish is damn good.

If you go, please order the soul bowl, it comes on a bed of cornbread 🥹 it’s heaven

Sometimes you won’t have the same experience as everyone else, and that’s okay.

The way I couldnt wait to try was actually crazy. I was too excited, and that was just off the design of the restaurant. It’s beautiful. Stunning. All the things. Got the Michelin star, and I just had to experience the first-class service.

Let’s just say, my girl and I had a contest on who could get the server’s attention first 🥴 my girl won.

Food Pictured ⬇️

Wanderer Australian Filet Mignon
Potato Gnocchi
Truffle Tagliatelle
New Zealand Lamb Chops
Chocolate Mousse (a must)
Hamachi Crudo (licked the plate)
Blue Crystal Prawns
Cocktail I loved (name please?)

There were a lot of good things about this restaurant. The restaurant was gorgeous in person just as it is in the photos. The crudo matched the hype. I wanted to pack the pesto sauce that came with the prawns to-go for a nice sandwich I’d make at home. The chocolate mousse was damn good, I didn’t want to share with my girls.

The sad things? The service. We were shocked at how bad the service was on a Monday night. We ordered the bread, but there were kitchen issues, so it wasn’t served that night. We were hoping for some sort of replacement, we even asked for sides. Nothing. The potato gnocchi—overpowered by the caramelized onions. We couldn’t even finish this plate. The meats…presentation was 10/10, but babyyyy we truly needed the sauce.

Will I try this place again even after spending 200 each? Probably so. I need to try the duck and the lobster. I also need the mousse again. And I think I went in with high expectations but just couldn’t get past the bad service.

Bad experiences happen, and that’s okay. Have you been to Mamani? What did you have? How’d you like it? I’m down to give it another try.

P.S. If you’re into dirty martinis and stuff, apparently it “tastes like water,” and that’s a good thing 🤌🏾 my girls were very happy. Me, I was confused.

Crazy thing is, he’s usually good about being patient 😑

Also, this is your sign to go to Rockwall.

But before you go to Rockwall, make a reservation at 💫

This was truly a random out of no where reservation. I was at my parents house, wanted wine, hopped on and found .

Wine + Damn Good Food = Hard af to come by.
This restaurant blew us away. The sweetest thing… everyone knew everyone there, and welcomed us with open arms (and shots 💅🏾). We felt like some cool ass locals 🥹

- y’all are something special. I have to get back and try the rest of the menu.

If you come here, just know you can’t go wrong with anything. Order everything 🙆🏾‍♀️

Just a little tip 👉🏾 order the focaccia bread. You will need this to dip the bread in the leftover sauce on each plate. You’re welcome.

Photos from mickeatz's post 01/03/2026

If you’re looking for suits behind the glass counter, don’t come here.

Shoutout to for not only helping ya girl with finding something nice for her man, but also being cool as hell. We literally talked about sushi and google reviews for 20 minutes 😂

Will easily come back here, but like I’m also not ballin so maybe stack some coins up again 🤷🏾‍♀️

I walked in and was like, “please help, my man needs a gold chain.” I showed them a pic of him, told them a little about his style, and they took it from there. My man was happy on Christmas Day. It was perfect.

Every other Friday, I’m in office. To sorta entice the entire process of getting out of bed and putting makeup on…. I decided to try a new coffee shop/cafe on my way into work. If you need a little push, try this.

This past Friday was and a dream it was.

Not only is the space beautiful, it’s the people. I thought I would be in and out, but we started talking about chocolate chip cookies, how we like our coffee, and then our families. I easily spent 30 minutes of my morning here, and I’m glad I did. I walked into work 8 minutes before my meeting like ooooooops, but happy friday folks 🙆🏾‍♀️

Also, Is it just me? Or can you walk into a coffee shop and know if the espresso is going to be good 😂 if I have a feeling the coffee isn’t going to hit, I stick with an americano, cause I just need a hit 🤷🏾‍♀️ if I can tell the espresso is going to slap…I’ll get my usual quad vanilla latte (i’m a caffeinated girlie).

I got my quad vanilla latte from and ya girl was happy.

I didn’t even know there was going to be food on the menu 😂 I got the farmers breakfast 👉🏾 the potatoes were crispy and seasoned, y’all know that’s hard to come by. The eggs and apple chicken sausage - so damn tasty. I can’t wait to go back for the sandwiches and french toast.

📍DALLAS, TX (Addison)
👉🏾
📸

Now the chocolate chip cookie, caught my attention as soon as I walked in. I was like….let me see if this one is going to be better than 😂 The guy behind the counter goes, we get our pastries from …. I said, LOOK AT GOD.

I actually had a perfect morning, and that’s a huge thanks to !

If you’re looking for a space with a lot of seating, beautiful lighting, great coffee, tasty food, and amazing people… check out ✨

Some things to keep in mind 👉🏾 cocktails are coming soon to this location, they aren’t open during the weekends (pretty sad about this), and they have two more locations popping up soon 🔥

This past Friday, I got to celebrate a sweet sister-friend of mine ❤️

She’s what we call…a book nerd. And what do you get a book nerd? A beautiful new book by (BECAUSE MICHELLE IS THAT GWORL) and a gift card to a new bookstore 🫶🏾

📍 DALLAS, TX
👉🏾
📸

Y’all, this place is gorgeous. I actually didn’t know what I was walking into, so the pictures don’t even do it justice. All I had in my head was book, gift card, cool. I walk in–blown away. Not even prepared to take pics, I was like wait, I might like books now?

Oh also, ya girl didn’t know there was going to be an entire coffee shop inside 😂 I left a happy gal. Latte in hand living life.

The place is stunning. It gave vibes for sure. I also loved that they gave free post cards with your purchase. I actually used them to write a sweet message to my sweet girl 🤞🏾

Also, if you’re not the best at gift wrapping (I try okay), head next door to , they wrapped the book so beautifully. We also chatted the entire time they wrapped 😂 I had an entire hair appointment I was almost late to because…yap.

to see the gift beautifully wrapped with the sweetest postcards from

If you’re looking for a place to grab your team some breakfast 👉🏾 is the place to go. Grab the bakers dozen.

And if you love big back activities like myself….you get yourself the Shug Bagel 🙋🏾‍♀️

THE WAY I TORE THIS UP 😂
My co-worker came around the corner like, “well what ya got there?” Nothing sir, let’s hop on this meeting.

📍Dallas, TX
👉🏾
📸

I can’t help myself at work, I’m basically the “do the most” co-worker that likes to be cheesy every now and then. I’ve been coined “the little sister” of the team, and I love being spoiled, so I welcomed the name with open arms 🐣

Back to the food. to see the bakers dozen my team loved. It was the perfect amount of bagels, and I’m obsessed with their egg bagel and the french toast one 🔥 For the beautiful bagel sammie (Shug Bagel), I got the egg bagel, swapped out the bacon for sausage, and loved every moment. They know what they’re doing by adding a hash brown in there 🥹

Now y’all know I grab a coffee everywhere I go, I like my coffee a bit more blacker….a bit more stronger…so I’ll stick to the food when I come here 🫡

I’ll be back 🫶🏾 I got more things to try.

Photos from mickeatz's post 11/11/2025

I love me a sexy restaurant 🙋🏾‍♀️ for sexy 🫶🏾

has it figured tf out 🔥

It’s like you walk in and you’re like…ohhhhhhh, then you take a bite of the rolls and you’re like OOOOOHHHHH. Within 5 minutes of sitting down, I knew I was going to have the best damn dining experience.

Please know, this is the restaurant you come to for any reason. Birthday, date night, girls night, “I wanna put on a cute ass outfit and go out” night.

What I ordered, and what I will easily order again 👉🏾 The parker house rolls, the prime ribeye (medium rare cause well-done is crazy work), the ribeye mac and cheese, and the wagyu cheesesteak bites 🥹

My girl ordered the sea bass, I took a bite, it was heaven. If you go, order this, but order sides too. If your stomach is setup like mine, you’ll be hungry after the sea bass.

Book this place. Eat the food. Have the drinks.

📍 Dallas, Texas

If you like a lil’cocktail 👉🏾 get the celia spritz

If I’m being honest, I can’t tell you how the coffee was…

BECAUSE HOW ARE THEY SERVING CHICKENS LIKE THIS OUT A COFFEE SHOP?!

I’m pretty sure I enjoyed my coffee, but I can’t stop thinking about the maple glazed chicken biscuit my man ordered. If you’re wondering … he only gave me a bite, but I understood 😭

I was “tryna” keep it light and ordered the breakfast sandwich. It was good, but it’s not touchin the chicken biscuit.

📍 Garland, TX
👉🏾
📸

As for the coffee shop 👉🏾 spacious with lots of seating and outlets. It’s nice when you don’t have to go searching for a place to plug your laptop. If you’re looking for a new in … is it 🔥 I just can’t believe this is my first time trying (fyi there’s several locations in the DFW area)!

I have to get back to try the cinnamon roll 🥹

The real Carbone’s 🙆🏾‍♀️

IYKYK

But if we’re playing nice, here’s formerly known as Carbone’s, and I’m obsessed, so obsessed I’ve been twice in one week.

The restaurant is beautiful. The service is everything, and the food is ridiculously tasty. Each bite was comforting AF.

Pictured ⬇️
