A couple elevators being tested during install 🫡

This one was an eye opener. We were called to investigate an electrical house fire. (Insurance wanted to be sure it was unrelated to a flood that happened at the house a month prior)

They were unrelated. And surprisingly, the electrical system was fine. This fire was caused by A BAD LIGHT BULB, that was in a fixture above a bed with a lot of blankets on it.

The family was home, sprang into action, and received quick care from McKinney FD. It spread a good amount, but could have been worse.

So the lesson here is….For bulbs that could fall into flammable areas, an LED that operates at a lower temperature should be considered. Or a good brand of bulb, and changed out as the manufacturer recommends. And sometimes things that ain’t broke, can still need fixing 👍

Here we’ve added 4 lights, a GFCI in the eave, fan support, all going back to a 5 switch bank we installed in the living room 👍

And two lights in the eave on the attached garage, going to their own switch 👍

This house has all the exterior lighting one could dream of now, and plenty of switching options to use a few or all of them 🤠💪
