After his win at the AT&T, Rory Mcilroy described Pebble Beach as a cathedral of golf. Gatsby agrees with this description.

What you wear to that cathedral shows your manners and respect. For yourself. And to others.

There is a time and place for everything. Sweatpants on the golf course, tuxedos for running, linen shorts for swimming, are the wrong things, at the wrong times.

Respect is a driving emotion for Gatsby. We are not confused as to how, and when, to pay our respects.

We make sweatpants. For lounging

Ben Hogan said he would walk with an imaginary wall behind him. As far as the eye can see from east to west, extending from the earth to the heavens. Behind the wall was every shot of the past. Never to be changed, etched in history forever.

The only time we get caught looking back is to remember the wasteful things we left behind. Often times, however, the answers we are looking for lie somewhere in the past.

Through trial and error, we learn from the past and discard the things that aren’t useful. This is why we make 100% in Italy. It is only there where the beauty of the past is preserved, and still modernized for our daily enjoyment.

Gatsby can’t help himself when he sees all the golfers draped in plastic. At least Costanza had enough class to choose velvet.

The crowd is a gathering place for the weakest. For the weak, feel free to join the pack. 🐺

It’s the men that walk alone who have the strongest conviction. For Gatsby, our conviction and tastes are simple: only the best.

If you’re struggling with your game, the best advice Gatsby can give you is this. Put your clubs in the trunk of your car, and go sell your car. Unless it’s a car this cool.
