SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING in effect for Hamilton county until 6:45pm.

Hazards include radar indicated 60mph wind gusts and 2 inch sized hail.

Severe Thunderstorm Warning in effect for Llano county until 9:45am. Watching lingering storms rolling in from the West. This system has reports of producing baseball sized hail, lightning, and 60 mile per hour wind gust. This system is weakening but a few areas could still see an isolated thunderstorm.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Hill County is in effect until 8:00 PM tonight.Damaging winds capable of downing trees and power lines are possible. Remain in a sturdy shelter until the warning expires.

🚨 JUSTICE FOR JENIFER 🚨

AMBER JOHNSON is now facing criminal charges including felony murder in the death of Jenifer Cleveland who died at the Luxe Med Spa in Wortham after an IV treatment in July 2023.

NOW almost 3 years later…

6 News KCEN TV can exclusively confirm she turned herself into the Freestone County Jail today and has since bonded out on a $69,000 bond. Her booking photo will be available soon.

According to the Freestone County Jail these are the charges she’s facing:
DELIVERY OF DANGEROUS DRUG
CRIMINAL NEGLIGENT HOMICIDE
MANSLAUGHTER
PRACTICING MEDICINE WITH NO LICENSE VIOLATION OF SUBTITLE
FELONY MURDER
TAMPERING OR VIOLATING WITH PHYSICAL EVIDENCE
DELIVERY OF A DANGEROUS DRUG (8)
14 CHARGES IN TOTAL

The Texas Attorney General’s office is prosecuting this case.

The Cleveland Family along with lawmakers including Angelia Orr for Texas successfully passed Jenifer’s law to better protect patients at med spas across Texas. The family has been seeking justice in both the criminal case and pending civil case.

We reached out to Johnson’s last known attorney who says they do not represent her.
