To discover and empower existing local efforts and leaders seeking to improve their communities

Get excited! We’ve got an opportunity for you to spread kindness this holiday season.

Compass for Kindness is raising money to provide toys for at least 50 children in El Zorrillo, a small pueblo outside of Ensenada.

Together with Fundación Amazonas de Ensenada, we want to ensure these children are taken care of, seen, and valued. Many families here struggle to provide even the basics, so a toy is more than just a present — it’s a reminder that they matter.

We are grateful to have supported this community in the past, and with your continued generosity we’ll bring joy once more.

💯% of your donation goes straight to toys. Even $5 makes a difference. $10? That’s a pretty cool gift!

We’ll be shopping and distributing mid‑December, so it’s a quick turnaround. Let’s make this happen together.

Hola hola amigos!! We’re collaborating once again with our friend Nataly Valdos of Fundación Amazonas de Ensenada to provide 60 CHILDREN with full backpacks for the upcoming school year.

We invite you to BE A PART OF THE STORY! Any amount great or small is helpful. You can donate on Instagram, Facebook or our website found on our profile.

For $1,100 we can buy and fill 60 BACKPACKS. That’s only $18.33 per child.

Appreciate you all! WE GOT THIS! ❤️🙏🏼🥳

We lost a dear friend on Saturday. Sigfredo was an amazing, generous man with a heart of gold. Education was so important to him and in that we shared a common vision. We worked with him at Marea Alta, visited local schools with him that he advocated for and he even opened up his home to us when Matt had his accident. He did so much for his community…. We are grateful we were able to visit with him when we were there this last April.

Sigfredo.. We are so blessed to have known you. El Salvador will never be the same. We pray that your legacy lives on in the hearts and minds of everyone who knew you and in MAREA ALTA, Asociación Comunal de Apoyo a la Educación

We love you…

Thank you to all who donated, shared, liked our fundraiser. We had amazing success for our toy drive for Children’s Day!!

Thanks to you, Compass for Kindness received a total of $375. This allowed us to go on a shopping spree and purchase 62 toys!!

We dropped off all the toys with Nataly and Efren of Fundación Amazonas de Ensenada
who will be distributing the toys on April 30th.

Get excited! We’ve got an opportunity for you to spread a little kindness! Our goal is to raise $300 to buy toys for at least 30 children.

Why? To celebrate El Día Del Niño, Day of the Child, a tradition that began in Mexico back in 1925. This day recognizes children, their importance to society and their well-being. How empowering is that for children? To know that they matter and are important!

Fundacion amazonas de Ensenada is making sure the children of El Zorrillo, a small Pueblo just outside of Ensenada, feels special too and C4K is supporting them to make sure all the children have a gift.

To make it happen, we need your help. 100% of your monetary donation will go to children’s toys and books. A dollar goes a long way here in Mexico so even a $5 donation will bless a child. And a $10 donation will get them a pretty cool gift!

We’ll be purchasing the toys this Thursday, April 13th so it’s a quick turnaround.

Let’s make this happen!

Thank you,
Britt and Matt Stoltzfus
