Still finding treasures from my move… found this bag/scarf/ note tonight, from my Nana’s 1st Piano Recital in 1936 and it’s never gonna leave my Piano (from her) for now on! 🧡✨

Love that my Nana loved music so much & worked hard at learning & playing it…sitting me down, many times a week, when I was there, to help me play & focus on music…
& passing that love down to me as well as a love for classic accessories. lol 👛🧣🎹

She was a safe place & provided a refuge, in music, that is always a safe place, now.

Last weekends BIG Musical adventure …I got to experience one of my favorite bands SIR WOMAN aka Kelsey Wilson in Phoenix, AZ!!✨✨✨

It was such a joyful experience & they were phenomenal! Loved hearing my friend Montez Montez G play & ‘sang’ with them And got to meet Kelsey (Sirwoman) & her sweet baby boy afterwards! Def Needed that sweet night!

Said Goodbye to this old friend today…She was a consistent refuge & vessel for release. Actually have had her for 26 years…Taught voice lessons with her, wrote so many songs, practiced worship sets, poured out my joy, pain, love, fears. Had a good, healthy cry when she was being rolled out.

Wrote ‘Above Board’ with her during the peak of Covid, when I was just trying to keep my head above water, to keep breathing, working full time, with mental health patients & otherwise isolated at home. I Just sat down & groaned, until words came. So Grateful for the moments we had. 🎹💛✨✨✨

Spring showers are bringing May flowers …🌧️🌺🌼🌻🌸…

So lookin forward to Gettin back to it 🎶 in May, with Some fun gigs, some great peeps, at some amazing venues!

Taking off most of April from gigs, to focus on moving. But SOOOO excited about this one when I come back out to play on May 1st! ✨💃🏼✨
