When God is first, everything else finds its place.
Life gets clearer when the right things are in the right order.
Putting God first is not only about what we believe. It shapes how we think, decide, respond, give, lead, and live.
When He has first place, everything else begins to find its proper place.
After 50 years of observing marriages, I have seen why aligning your faith with your partner is so important. Shared beliefs shape direction, decisions, and long term strength in a relationship.

This is a clip from a recent message I shared. I have found that it is not about the size of what we give. It is about the place it holds in our lives. What comes first sets the direction for everything that follows.

In life, I've realized there are two types of truth seekers: the scouts and the soldiers.
Scouts, equipped with their binoculars and maps, remain open to learning and adapting, ready to change their perceptions if reality differs from their expectations.
Soldiers, on the other hand, charge forward with certainty, demanding that the world align with their views.
Which are you?
A scout, eager to adjust your mindset in pursuit of truth, or a soldier, confident and unyielding in your beliefs?
This distinction truly matters.

Invite someone who would be encouraged by being part of a community of purpose driven business leaders.
KBLF is a place where business owners and professionals come together to build meaningful relationships, grow in leadership, and navigate the marketplace with wisdom, integrity, and faith.
Sometimes one conversation, one connection, or one introduction can make a lasting impact.
If someone comes to mind, tag them below or personally invite them to be part of the KBLF community.

Here’s a reminder of what God has placed inside the women in our lives.
God has given them strength, wisdom, and a capacity to carry so much with grace and purpose.
To every man, your role in supporting and encouraging the women in your life matters. Sometimes it is as simple as making space for them to grow, be refreshed, and receive.
Let’s be intentional about lifting them up.

The walls were not just broken. They were driven down by a power no one could resist. That same power is still at work today.
But this message is not only about what God can remove. It is about how we position Him in our lives. When He is first, we move out of survival and into stability and covering.
What stands against you will not remain.

Grace would not be great without adversity.
It is easy to be patient and understanding when everything is going well. But the real measure of grace is seen when life becomes difficult. In those moments, we have the opportunity to respond in a way that reflects God’s nature rather than our circumstances.
Grace carries more weight when it is given during pressure.
In a great church, there are many kinds of people and many kinds of contributions. Some are visible and some are practical and behind the scenes. Both are needed and both carry value.
What makes a church strong is not just what people have, but when they choose to use it.
There has been a lot on my heart about how we view what is happening in the world right now. I would love to talk more about it.
Join me this Sunday at Covenant Church Carrollton South Campus. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.
