Rahr To The Rescue
RTTR’s mission is to support rescues, shelters and dogs that have nowhere to turn. We don't want rescues depleting operating capital on emergency cases.
We help rescues with funding so they can save urgent dogs who desperately need help.

Did you know approximately 500,000 pets are affected by residential fires each year?
Dallas and Fort Worth had no oxygen equipment for dogs on their trucks. That has officially started changing ❤️ Rahr To The Rescue has donated the first 20 to Dallas and The Duke and Oliver Foundation has donated 25 to Fort Worth and surrounding areas 🎉 It was such a huge honor for us to meet with these amazing firefighters and see how grateful they were to be able to help dogs and cats with the proper equipment. We still have a long way to go. We need about 100 more in Dallas. If you would like to help our link is www.rahrtotherescue.org
Thank you so much for your support ❤️

Did you know that Dallas does something very special for their dogs at Dallas Animal Services and Adoption Center on New Year’s Eve? Over 300 volunteers spend their New Year’s as a special friend to all of the dogs in the shelter. They provide comanionship and comfort during the firework display. Last year many of the dogs ended up going home with their companion. Trust me I know first hand. This is how we adopted Mr. Buttons 💙 A HUGE Thank you to Jay Jerrier and everyone at Cane Rosso for donating over 60 pizzas and Jay Murray Law Group for donating hundreds of drinks and Milk-Bones to everyone spending their New Year's at DAS. When ordering a pizza please remember Cane Rosso's support of dog rescue and their deep commitment to the welfare of all dogs. What an incredible way to start the New Year 🎆 Rahr To The Rescue

What a fun way to raise money for an amazing charity and enjoy some incredibly rare beers 🍻
A toast to the Fort Worth brewery and 'godfather' of craft beer When craft beer pioneer Fritz Rahr debuted his namesake brewery in a ramshackle South Fort Worth warehouse in 2004, Fort Worth was “very much a Miller-Coors town,” he says. Never forget all of the heroes on 9/11.
On the morning of September 11, 2001
an incredibly brave guide dog named Roselle was enjoying her day underneath her Dad's desk on the 78th floor of World Trade Center Tower One. Her dad, Michael Hingson, blind since birth got the terrible call that it was time to evacuate.
Roselle safely guided her dad down 78 chaotic, smoky, dust and debris filled flights of stairs to sately. Thank you to Roselle and all of the hero's on September 11 #911
