Service will be on July 8th at 1pm. They are holding it at Grand Prairie Funeral Home.

Had a great turn out for our May 1st cookout hosted by our Retirees here at Local 848. Thanks to all who made it here.

Attention all members:
Local 848 lost a great retiree this week. Brother Jay Dunn has gone to our Lord.

Lord, we gather with heavy hearts as we remember our brother who has passed. We thank You for his life, his work, and the bond he shared with our Local. Grant him eternal rest, and bring comfort and strength to his family, friends, and all of us who mourn. Help us carry forward his spirit of unity, dedication, and solidarity. Amen.

Regarding the upcoming event on May 1st, 2026, Gerardo will be cooking at the Union Hall rain or shine! Come for good times, fajitas and beer!

May First Will Be Biggest Ever! Local 848's retirees are hosting a cookout at our hall, 2218 E Main, at noon on May 1st. Gerardo Contreras has agreed to cook fajitas for all members and seniors.

Attending 2026 National Cap Conference helping our UAW in building working class power here in Washington DC. Met with some great people here.
