Please support my friend, Pam Bell in her runoff for place 6. Early voting starts May 27. Election Day is June 7

Although I did not advance to the runoff for Rowlett City Council Place 6, I believe it's important to move beyond our differences and focus on the future of our community. I am endorsing Pamela Bell in the upcoming runoff election on June 7, 2025.

Pamela brings valuable experience and a deep commitment to Rowlett, and I trust she will serve our city with integrity and dedication. I encourage all residents to participate in the runoff election and make their voices heard.

I want to thank everyone who supported and voted for me during early voting and on Election Day, May 3. It was a tiring and sometimes grueling campaign season, but now it is over, and I am looking forward continuing my service in representing ALL the citizens of Rowlett.
Our full complement of Councilmembers will not be complete until after the runoff election for Place 6.
In the meantime, congratulations to our new Mayor, Jeff Winget and newly elected Councilmember, Marvin Gibbs. I look forward to serving with both of you.

Tomorrow is the big day - election day in Rowlett!

So far in Rowlett there have been a total of 2,850 votes registered in early voting (Dallas and Rockwall County). Since folks can vote anywhere in their county during early voting this number could be higher if they voted somewhere else outside of Rowlett.

We have an estimated 42,000 to 43,000 registered voters. Even if we doubled the number of early voters on the May 3rd election, that would be just shy of 13%.

So, if you haven't voted please do so tomorrow. If you have voted and know people who haven't, then please gently "drag" them to the polls.

We have a better local government when more of its citizens participate! As always, thank you for your support and hopefully I have secured your vote for my re-election!

Early voting is over and now we need a full court press for election day this Saturday, May 3.

For Dallas County alone, there were 2,517 votes cast at the RCC. I am still trying to figure out the total number of early votes in the Rockwall County portion of Rowlett.

There's no way to predict turnout for Saturday but given the history it will typically be a low turnout for a municipal election, which is sad given we have approximately 43,000 plus registered voters.

If you haven't voted, please do so on Saturday, May 3. If you have voted but know others who haven't please encourage them to vote!

And, of course please vote to re-elect Mike Britton, Rowlett City Council Place 4!

Early voting in Rowlett is a mere 4 days away - April 22. Early voting will be at the Rowlett Community Center, 5300 Main St.
I need your support now to put the pedal to the metal and help me sprint to the finish line!
As of this morning there are 200 of you who are following my Mike4Rowlett page. If each of you simply shared with 10 of your friends and family, that would be 2,000 votes.
Given our voting history in Rowlett, we generally see approximately 3,000 to 4,000 people who actually come out and vote in a municipal election. It's sad that the numbers are so low, since we have in excess of 41,000 registered voters in our city, but it is what it is.
Please help me get re-elected to Place 4 so that I can continue serving this great city!
