Please know that starting on Saturday November 5th, 2022, Lee Jensen Sales will indefinitely cease business hours on all Saturdays. This will include the Crystal Lake and Mokena locations. After hours pickups may still be arranged the preceding Friday if required.
The Crystal Lake location will offer “By appointment only” forklift yard services for loading and unloading of semi-trucks, lowboys, flat beds, tag trailers, with road plates, trench boxes, stone boxes etc. Please call ahead on Friday by 3:30 pm so we can schedule accordingly.
Small equipment returns will not be accepted or scheduled; any small equipment returns can be dropped the following Monday, and there will be no additional rent charged for the weekend. Please call in a standard off rent notice with an inside sales associate, or to schedule a pickup the following week.
Showroom accessibility for sales / rentals / or repairs will no longer be available on Saturdays.
Please visit us during the regular workweek Monday through Friday, 6:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. in Crystal Lake and from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Mokena.

Died: April 2, 2021
James L. Jensen, of Crystal Lake passed away unexpectedly at his home April 2, 2021
with his wife beside him. Born in Chicago to Lee and Lillian "twiggles" (nee Carlson)
Jensen on August 25, 1951. Beloved husband of 30 years to Christine (nee Elsner);
loving brother of Sandy (Phil) Larson; caring uncle to many nieces and nephews as
well as great-nieces and nephews; preceded in death by his parents, brother Larry
Jensen and sister, Doris Heflers. He was Godfather to Zachary and Nathan Elsner. Jim
grew up in Crystal Lake, graduating from Crystal Lake Central High School in 1970
where he was a star running back. He went on to play football for Middle Tennessee
State and played semi-professional football for the Niles Saints. He remained an avid
sports fan, cheering for the Bears, Cubs, and Notre Dame. Jim along with his brother
Larry, took over his father's business, Lee Jensen Sales and ran it successfully until his
brother's and father's passing. The Company grew considerably and remains today.
During his years as a successful businessman Jim loved to travel; with his wife Chris
visiting Hawaii many times, Europe, Mexico the Cayman Islands, Arizona, and his lake
home in Wisconsin. He loved the water and soaking up as much sunshine as he
could. Having an outgoing personality Jim made many friends; personally and
professionally. Jim also had a generous heart and was indeed a philanthropist giving
to many charities and participating in various charitable outings for The Brian Piccolo
Cancer Research Fund, Clearbrook Center, Community Cancer Foundation along with
many more gold charity events. He was an avid golfer, and loved his many cats and
dogs, including his many German Shepherd Dogs. Due to the current COVID 19
pandemic, a private service will be held for Jim Tuesday April 13, 2021. A celebration
of Life service with be held at a future date determined by the family.

YARD ATTENDANT The Yard Attendant’s primary objective is to assist customers with loading and unloading equipment. The position also consists of various labor based tasks and completing other daily assignments that support the branch operations which includes delivering equipment to jobsites or customer’s offices. Required Skills And Experience
• Great attitude
• Mechanically inclined
• Excellent verbal and written English communication abilities. The candidate will need to answer shop phone calls, think on his or her feet and respond to customer needs.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with underground construction/equipment industry a plus
• Physical exertion required. Including, but not limited to: walking, standing, stooping, bending and lifting up to 90 pounds
• Frequent exposure to the elements
• Valid driver’s license required Responsibilities
• Operate a forklift to load steel on to flatbed trucks
• Pressure wash equipment, make small repairs, identify and take note of damage on rentals coming back.
• Assisting with various yard duties
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Build and maintain long term business relationships
• Deliver equipment as needed – must be comfortable driving a pick up truck and towing equipment

• Hourly salary commensurate with experience
