Gosh, it’s been a whirlwind of a year, and we’re thankful for all of our clients, both professional and pro se. As we walk into this holiday season, may it be a time to rest, reflect, and enjoy time with the ones you love.

After a long day of work and trying to save the world, it’s good to come home to the ones you love. It’s not always investigations and phone calls. Sometimes, it’s just relaxing on a cold evening with family.

We’d like to thank everyone that has chosen to use our services throughout this past year. For us personally, it’s been an emotional ride, and we do our best to keep up and strive to be better. May you and yours have a healthy and happy Thanksgiving!

Three questions… First, which one is the private detective? Second, which one is wearing a bulletproof vest? Third, which one is most likely increasing their chances of impersonating a police officer?

Both of them are private detectives, both of them are wearing bulletproof vests and the one most likely to go to jail is the one on the left.

The one on the right plays things low key and has respect for the industry and his colleagues. He doesn’t pretend to be something he’s not. He’s not trying to draw attention to himself and there’s a better chance somebody might answer the door for him in a non-aggressive manner than the one on the left. A private detective is not a law enforcement official.

This brings a bad name to the industry and is very misleading. If you want to be a police officer, then do the proper training and get the proper gear. It gives others that have a respect for the industry a bad name.

Believe it or not, providing too much information can lead to you having to scramble to protect your information

In this industry, it actually takes time and effort to work an investigation. Many “investigators” out there rely on one source of information and immediately assume it’s the answer to their case only to waste time and money. This applies to skip tracing, service of process, surveillance, asset searches and the list goes on…

It’s always imperative that we provide detailed information on a property. At first glance, this property appears to be vacant inside the front. However, something just didn’t seem right and after further investigation, the back of the property does have furniture inside and appears that somebody’s living here. We don’t just “touch and go“ if something appears to us a certain way. Can you imagine if we wrote a vacancy affidavit on this property only to find out that people really do live here? It’s bad for business and we always encourage other companies in this industry to go the extra mile before signing an affidavit claiming that something is vacant when in reality, it’s not.

Sometimes it can be difficult to work in this industry and then guys like this come along and give us a bad name. Keep your hands off something that doesn’t belong to you!

You would think at some point, these documents would’ve been taken off the door because they were posted back in July 2020. Believe it or not, this house isn’t vacant either. Never judge a book by its cover because the inside of this place doesn’t look half as bad as the outside. The occupants are clearly avoiding service at all cost. As you can tell, even the local sheriff has had their trials with this property. Can you say due diligence?

Sometimes peace can be found in some of the most unusual places after a long day of work in this industry. While visiting a place like this, I can’t help but ask myself, am I doing everything I’m called to be doing in life before this place is my final earthly resting point?

It’s not a matter of IF we’ll find somebody, but WHEN we find them.

Many people think that if you can find it on the Internet these days, it must be true and that’s completely the opposite. Not everything you see or hear is true but one of the best ways to find the truth is to hire an investigator.

We have to be careful not to let certain types of technology take control of our lives. Before you know it, our lives are spiraling out of control when it‘s as easy as the following…
