The oldest Parmigiano Reggiano dairy in Parma and one of only four members of the Consorzio di Sola Bruna (Brown Cow Consortium). Valserena is a 5th generation producer operated today by Giovanni Serra and his sister Antoinetta – who is a veterinarian and knows each cow by name. Valserena is one of the last farmstead producers of this PDO cheese, meaning they grow the feed, raise the animals, and make these cheese all at their farm. Join us Friday evening September 8th for a super fun, casual, family friendly & free cruise around Crystal City on 2 wheels. We’ll meet up at Crystal City Municipal Park and Pool and will be led through the beautiful streets of City of Crystal City by the wonderful Crystal City Police Department on a short 2.8 mile route back to the park parking lot, where the family can enjoy snow cones and a movie in the park brought to you by The Summit at Crystal City Municipal Park So grab the family and the bikes and we’ll see you in the park.
