Happy Mother’s Day to all! This sweet pair of vintage silhouettes were my vision of motherhood, before I had children. Three grown sons later, I have a more realistic view. But I wouldn’t trade a single moment with them. They’ve shaped me and taught me at least as much as I did them. Raising them is the hardest thing I’ve ever done…they are my best work. I’m so proud to be their mama.

The little silhouettes belonged to my Auntie. They hang in our master bath so I see them every day and think of her. ❤️
