If you were a business that allowed us to get donations by having our donation baskets at your workplace, we thank you! And our thank you cards will be arriving this week to each and everyone of you!

Today Covington Cares delivered the first of its warm clothes/coats donations given to us by the many wonderful ppl of Covington and partnered by Bar 32 with the amazing Amy and Brian Rice! This donation was delivered to the Ion Domestic Violence Center and will be distributed to its abuse survivors shelter. We thank you all so much for making our food and coat drives successful! Up next, the Brighton center donation of coats, which will be delivered this week and our last big food drive which will ge donated to an emergency warming shelter for the homeless.

Please don’t forget to keep giving at the Covunity Fridge on Scott street and Banklick and if you’d like to still donate food to local shelters Okbb has asked to continue the drive in their fine establishment and still has a basket for donations.

It’s a bit warmer today but handwarmers were put in both CovUnity Fridge locations yesterday! Make sure to go get some for your pockets when it dips again.

We are ending the coat drive and food drive (for most places still in talks with a couple of bars that may keep it) on the 15th. If you have coats/sweaters/sicks/gloves/hats please drop them off at Bar 32!

We hope you all have a wonderful and safe holiday. Thank you for all of your kindness and generosity. Because of you all, many families have been able to eat and feel less insecure about their food. What a wonderful gift to have given others. We thank you. Happy Holidays!!!

I’d like to remind that there are rules to donation into CovUnity Fridges, so the food is accessible to the homeless. Rules will be in comments. 💗💗💗

Last week’s donation went to the CAC pantry that now services 3 different locations! Our donation was 114lbs! Huge thank you to Jeni and Tiffany! And thank you to everyone who donated!!!! Please have your coats and warm sweaters ready for our coat drive! Drop offs for coat drive is currently at Stoneys!

We are still collecting food weekly until Jan 1st! Please continue to give! Last week’s food will be weighed and donated tomorrow to the CAC. 💗💗💗
