Covington Latin School is proud to spotlight alumna Sidonie Mangeot '17, who recently graduated summa cm laude from NKU Salmon P. Chase College of Law.
Sidonie credits her early education at Covington Latin with helping shape the way she approaches her work, especially by learning to embrace challenges directly and with purpose.
During law school, Sidonie was deeply involved in the Chase community, serving as President of the Federalist Society and Executive Editor of the Northern Kentucky Law Review. She also participated in the Sixth Circuit Clinic, where she strengthened her appellate advocacy skills through legal research, brief writing, and oral argument before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit on behalf of a criminal defendant.
This summer, Sidonie is preparing for the bar examination. Upon successful completion, she will join Wood + Lamping LLP as an associate attorney, focusing on community association, tax, and litigation matters. She has spent the past two years with the firm as a law clerk and looks forward to beginning her legal career.
Congratulations, Sidonie. We are proud to celebrate the impressive work of our alumni and the many ways they continue to lead with goodness, discipline, and knowledge.

We are proud to spotlight alumna Isabella Knoop '17 and the remarkable work she has been doing abroad.
Over the past six months, Isabella completed a traineeship at the European Court of Auditors in Luxembourg, serving within Chamber IV: Regulation of Markets and Competitive Economy. In this role, she contributed to financial and compliance audits of European Union agencies, supporting work related to payments, revenues, procurement, salaries, and EU budget implementation. She also assisted with audit documentation, reporting, research, and presentations for institutional visitors.
One of the most exciting aspects of Isabella’s experience was participating in on-site audit missions at three EU agencies across Europe: EFCA in Vigo, Spain, Frontex in Warsaw, Poland, and EMA in Amsterdam, Netherlands. These opportunities gave her valuable firsthand experience in international audit work and exposure to a variety of institutional settings.
Just as meaningful was the personal growth that came with the experience. Isabella shared how rewarding it was to work alongside fellow trainees from diverse backgrounds, whose enthusiasm and perspectives made the experience even more memorable.
We are proud to see alumni like Isabella using their talents on an international stage and making an impact in meaningful ways.
