So, this was a bit of a shock to discover.
People who know me know I've always considered myself an independent who leaned conservative. After Judge Hastings helped me get my life back on track and I experienced firsthand the positive impact the judicial system can have, I registered as a Republican when I was released from prison in 2017. I still remember the staff being surprised when I checked that box because, according to them, most people leaving registered as Democrats.
Politics has never been about blind loyalty for me. I have friends on both sides of the aisle. What I've always had a problem with is political extremism, regardless of which side it comes from.
While I'm not happy with the current direction of the Republican Party or Turning Point, I've remained a registered Republican since 2017.
Anthony D'Ellena was someone I genuinely thought had potential. When he reached out asking for my support and publicity for a rally following the death of Charlie Kirk, I didn't hesitate. As someone who consistently speaks out against political violence and threats, I promoted his event free of charge.
Since then, I've found that Anthony has blocked my ability to post or share content in groups that I helped grow.
Turning Point has long promoted itself as a champion of free speech. As a chapter founder and chairman of the Narragansett GOP, I believe this kind of censorship contradicts the principles the movement claims to stand for.
This isn't about one Facebook group. It's about consistency and principle.
For me, this experience reflects a broader direction that I no longer feel comfortable supporting. Because of that, today I'm ending my affiliation with the Republican Party and returning to my roots as an independent.
I don't owe my loyalty to a political party. I owe it to my principles.
If you've experienced the same hypocrisy, or if you no longer recognize the values this party claims to represent, I encourage you to take a hard look at where your support is going.
Political parties should earn your loyalty—they shouldn't expect it. If your principles no longer align with the direction of the Republican Party or the people representing it, don't be afraid to walk away. Disassociate yourself from organizations and individuals who preach free speech but practice censorship, and support people who are willing to uphold their principles even when it's inconvenient.
At the end of the day, your integrity is worth more than any party affiliation.
Ps: I'd also like to point out the racist tone of his post in the attached screenshots, and look at my comment. Who here "deserves" to be "canceled" or "censored"?

What happens when someone says they're targeted, asks for help, and feels like nobody in authority is willing to listen?
In this episode of **Rhode Island F.U.N. (F***ed Up News)**, I share my perspective on events that have left me questioning whether everyone truly receives equal treatment under the law.
For years, Rhode Island F.U.N. has reported on local government, public officials, police accountability, and issues affecting our communities. We've exercised our First Amendment rights by asking difficult questions and shining a light on stories many people feel are ignored.
In this video, I discuss:
* My account of a drive-by-style shooting targeting my home.
* Why I believe my concerns were not taken seriously.
* The threats, harassment, doxing, and swatting incidents I've experienced over the years.
* My belief that my public criticism of local government and law enforcement has affected how I'm treated.
* Why I believe everyone deserves equal protection and equal access to justice, regardless of their opinions.
Rhode Island F.U.N. has consistently condemned political violence, threats of violence, and intimidation—regardless of who the target is or what political beliefs they hold. We believe disagreements should be settled with facts, public debate, and accountability—not fear or violence.
If public officials or law enforcement would like to respond to any statements made in this video, Rhode Island F.U.N. welcomes the opportunity to include their perspective.
**This channel exists to ask questions, document public issues, and encourage transparency—not to encourage harassment or violence.**

My followers know I've made a few pretty entertaining episodes about this guy after the whole ICE incident.
Since then, he's popped up on my feed quite a bit... and yeah, I've trolled him more than once. 😂
But today, he posted a video with a message I can get behind:
**"DO SOMETHING."**
Not just with your day—but with your life.
Take **massive action.**
That's exactly what we try to do here at **Rhode Island F.U.N.** Every story, every investigation, every voice raised against corruption starts with someone deciding to do something.
I'm not sharing this to promote a business or give anyone a "web redemption." I'm sharing it because the message matters.
During **Men's Health Month**, this is something that deserves to be heard loud and clear.
Every one of us has the ability to create massive change. Sometimes the hardest part is finding the strength to take that first step.
Do something. Your future self will thank you. 🙏

Submitted by a fan:
The screenshots below were sent to one of our followers after they were accused of being me and told their Facebook profile was fake.
This isn't an isolated incident.
An active police investigation is underway after alleged threats were made against a local public school. My wife is the teacher involved, and **we were the ones who filed the police report** that launched this investigation. This is **completely separate** from the publicly known case involving alleged threats against the Westerly Superintendent.
One detail in these messages stood out: the sender allegedly included what they claimed was their own home address while challenging the recipient to a fight. If accurate, that could make identifying the person behind the account much easier for investigators.
If you've received messages from the Facebook profile **"Brad Connors"** or believe you've been harassed by the same individual, we'd like to hear from you. Please send us screenshots and any relevant information in a private message. Your information could help establish a pattern of conduct.
Stay tuned. More information will be released as it becomes available.
If anyone is being harassed by "Brad Connors" aka John Bogue, apparently he can be found at 73 Peirce Street in Westerly RI.
