Josh Sanders, Road Service Technician, continues to grow both personally and professionally through the Young Leaders University program at Key Equipment & Supply Co.

He shares that the program has had a strong positive impact, pushing him outside of his comfort zone and helping him provide the best possible service to customers. It has also given him a better understanding of how the business operates as a whole.

One decision that had a lasting impact on Josh’s career was answering a late-night phone call from Donnie O’Dell, Chief Operating Officer, who shared the opportunity at Key Equipment. That moment helped set him on a path of growth and development within the company.

Josh is focused on continuing to learn and expand his skills, with the goal of taking on larger roles as he progresses in his career. Along the way, he’s embraced an important lesson: growth often comes from stepping into the unknown, and the risks that feel the most challenging can lead to the greatest rewards.

He also values resilience and confident communication—qualities he admires in strong leaders and continues to develop in his own journey.

Outside of work, Josh is a proud father of seven and spends as much time as possible with his kids. From family camping and fishing trips to staying involved in his girls’ competitive tumbling and coaching his son’s youth football team, family is at the center of everything he does. He also enjoys working on dirt track cars and anything fast and loud.

We’re proud to see Josh continuing to grow and make an impact through the Young Leaders University program.
