Tropical Storm Arthur has formed. ❌

Tropical Storm Arthur has formed along Texas coast. 40mph winds (orange shaded area is wind field)

Overall, this is a nothing burger for SE Texas as heaviest of rain stays offshore then will move into Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia in coming days

Bertha will be the next storm on the list

The Tropical System is right over Flour Bluff at the moment.

We are now on the "Dry Side" of the System so rain will be on the scarce side in the next few days.

A few lingering bands from the system are possible in South Texas.

It will More than Likely turn into a Tropical Storm with 40 MPH sustained winds with gusts up to 50 MPH and move towards the Texas/Louisiana border.

Heavy Rain/Lightning near Robstown and North Padre Island, TX 🌧️⚡️⛈️

We should see rain for a few hours here in the CC area. 🌧️🌧️

Some isolated areas could get up to 7 inches of Precip in the next 48 hours.

There is now a 60% chance of development according to the National Hurricane Center!

We might have our first named system of 2026 “Arthur” in the coming days.

The LATEST Ensemble Tracks for Invest 90 L. 🌀

The storm will move Northeast through the Coastal Bend/South Texas and to the Northeast. It's possible it might hit the gulf and Strengthen to A tropical System (Arthur)..

Either way we will get PLENTY of much needed rain here in South Texas.
