Taper is a (soon to be) cloud-based service that ends email overload, the #1 cause of tooth decay and back pain in the US alone. Taper works silently in the background, so you learn nothing new yet find yourself jamming through email at a rapid pace.
Back from the dead here. Does anyone still use or want this? I personally still use it but it needs to be updated for the new gmail so I wanted to see if anyone else has the same email hell issue.

We have decided the best way to understand the value of Taper and hopefully support or Kickstarter campaign is to try it FOR FREE. Get it now by visiting Tapermail.com and clicking on the Download Now or Get It Now button. Let us know what you think!
Taper - Ending Email Overload Taper never stores or reads your email, it simply moves them back and forth between folders in your account. And since we never store anything, if we go down your email will still be delivered without problem.

The reason that other services, such as Google or Sanebox, move important email to a new folder is so you can focus on what is important. This is great and we like that, however, it's very difficult to focus when you have 20 to 100 things to focus on.
Taper fixes this problem by letting quickly and easily deal with an email task. If you treat your inbox like a todo list, no problem, just flag or star the "todo" or "waiting for a response" email and Taper will let in the next one.
