The stormwater planters on 5th Street are in bloom! These planters filter and remove street pollutants before entering the storm sewer. The deep roots of Iowa native plants promote rapid infiltration and help maintain soil quality, and a forebay catches sediment and debris for easy cleaning. #WaterQualityWednesday
