Looking for inspiration for 2022? Students, staff and community members can now download the original song #AHSchools used to kick-off the 2021-22 school year, inspired by the school district tagline, “A future without limit.”
Song downloads will fund musical instruments for students in the school district through the Anoka-Hennepin Education Foundation (AHEF) Encore! Fund, which covers the cost of refurbishing donated musical instruments so they can be brought back to life for a student who otherwise doesn’t have or can’t afford a band or orchestra instrument. Read more, download the song:
The song, “No Limits,” was written and produced by James Greer, the school district diversity and inclusion coordinator, along with Stanley ‘Chance’ Howard and his creative musical team. Greer has a history in the music industry, collaborating with famous performers including Janet Jackson, Prince and Morris Day and the Time - to name a few.
“There is no limit to what we can do, who we can be, or where we can go. In my mind, I was thinking that there is no limit to what we can do in life, period,” Greer said.
