Are you looking for a good book to read? Our ELA kids have some suggestions….
On Thursday Northdale hosted their annual BOB (Battle of the Books) event.
The students are given a list of books to read. They get into teams of 3 and come up with a team name. Teams decide how the books will be divided up so that all book are read. Then students read, read, and read. In February, we have our building battle. Each team will get one question per round, and have 30 seconds to discuss the team’s answer. The answers come from the books they read. Each correct answer gets your team a chance at the next round. The top three teams will go to the district battle to compete against other middle schools in the district.
Never miss a chance to dance! 🎵 Middle school students are invited to take part in a competitive dance league. Participants will learn the skills of dance with an emphasis on teamwork and safety.
