Application for Educational Benefits for the 2023-24 school year

The Anoka-Hennepin School District will host an in-person hiring event for non-teaching positions Thursday, Aug. 3 from 1-5 p.m. in the Erling Johnson Rooms A and B at the Educational Service Center (ESC), located at 2727 N Ferry St. in Anoka (enter Door 7). Join us to learn about employment opportunities and have a same-day, on-site interview for various positions. CRHS biomedical sciences and engineering students visit Medtronic
Seniors in the biomedical sciences and engineering programs at C**n Rapids High School - Center for Biomedical Sciences and Engineering visited the Medtronic Mounds View campus on May 3 to present their capstone projects to Medtronic employees, tour the facility and labs before ending the day with a career panel. District students leverage technology to enhance driver education curriculum
Every day in Anoka-Hennepin, high school students are getting a head start on their behind-the-wheel education thanks to technology being utilized in driver education classes in all five high schools in the district. Each school has eight virtual driving simulators installed in classrooms and anywhere from eight to 16 students use them during each hour of the school day. The simulators include a widescreen display, a steering wheel and foot pedals and offer a real-life experience of being behind the wheel of a vehicle. 2021 Kindness Poster Contest Winners
Ten students from across the school district were recognized for their award-winning artwork at the Jan. 24 Anoka-Hennepin School Board meeting, as part of the annual kindness poster contest. This year’s theme was “Kindness has No Limits." The district invited students at all grade levels to submit their best artwork for the competition and the school-level winners advanced to the district-level judging. Nearly 100 posters were voted on by staff at the Educational Service Center (ESC) on election day, Tuesday, Nov. 2. Referendum 2021 overview
Anoka-Hennepin Schools aims to provide resources for learning about the ballot questions so that voters are informed prior to going to the polls on or before Nov. 2. Voters will consider a no tax impact renewal with two levies for learning (questions 1 and 2) and an investment in mental health, social emotional and academic supports for students performing under grade level (question 3).
