As a wreath maker, rarely do I make a wreath for my front door (well, except for Christmas). My door stays naked for most of the year. 😜

This year, I just had to participate in the patriotic spirit and make a beaded grass grapevine for myself. My door is feeling a little love. ❤️🤍💙

I'm just going to say the quiet part out loud: "Etsy is NOT a seller-friendly marketplace". If you're a fellow creative on Etsy, you know the game. It often feels like an abusive relationship with frequent bouts of "I'm done." 😑😪 Between the ever-changing algorithims (which are never in your favor); strict policies; multiple fees (which you uncover as you go along); unjustly blackballing some shops while rewarding others; and many other obstacles, the experience of selling is both challenging and stressful.

I absolutely love what I do: creating from the heart with the satisfaction of working with my hands. Designing wreaths is not just a side gig for me, it's a spiritually rewarding journey for very personal reasons. Like many other shop owners, I'm struggling (alot) not only to make sales, but simply to get traffic (views & visits). I don't expect everyone to be able to make a purchase as times are tough and the economy is unwell.
