It’s national dog day! to celebrate we want to introduce you all to our namesake… poppy!

poppy is our one year old mini aussie. she loves peanut butter bones, belly rubs, ear scratches, and of course sustainable living!

we love our girl and hope to have her at a pop up so you can meet her soon 🌿

we always get asked “what’s your favorite product” well here’s the answer..all of them! haha we do love them all but here is why we these are our favs

kaili’s favorite product is the lavender laundry detergent! “this detergent leaves my clothes smelling fresh while also staying soft!”

will says his favorite products are the toilet bowl fizz cleaners! “the fizz cleaners are super easy to use and leave behind a great orange scent!”

as we get ready for our opening this weekend, we want to share some information about what you can refill

the answer is… anything! you can refill plastic or glass containers as long as they are clean and dry (unless you are refilling our same product into that container)

we will have amber glass keeper bottles for sale with pump and spray tops. we will also have several donated jars available for free! we are not accepting more donated jars at the time but we will start this up in the future so you can help our community get started on their sustainable journey and recycle your unused containers!

drop one of these little guys in the toilet and let it do the rest! these are homemade on crow mountain, arkansas.

also, we just wanted to update everyone on our opening status. we originally planned to hold our first pop up this weekend but due to possible stormy weather we are pushing this back to next weekend. we are also working with another location for a pop up in late august. we will have more details on all of this later in the week! thank you all for your patience as we get started and can’t wait to see you soon! 🌿

hi everyone! today we want to answer the most important question: how is shopping at poppy’s more sustainable?

first, we are operating as a closed loop system. this means we get our products in bulk from sustainable and local suppliers and put them in our own jars to dispense them to the public. we then take the containers the products come in and clean them out so that they can be shipped back to the supplier. there they are cleaned and sanitized to be used again!

second, as a customer at poppy’s sustainable market you are doing your part to keep plastic and other materials out of landfills by refilling containers you already have!

here at poppy’s, we offer bulk household products that customers fill their own containers with and buy by the ounce! here’s the steps:

1. we weigh your container
2. you fill your container with the amount of product you want
3. we re-weigh and subtract your start weight from end weight so that you only pay for the product you receive!
