We are saddened to announce that Governor Abbot has not included salons in Phase 1 of opening up business across the state but grateful he is being cautious as to keep us as well as our clients safe. As long as there are no rise in cases with this phase at this point we will be included in Phase 2 mid May.

We will unfortunately not be scheduling appointments until we know the date won’t change to avoid having to reschedule. We thank all of our loyal clients for being patient. We miss you all & are so ready to see you! We will be in touch with you to schedule as soon as we have confirmation of when we are allowed to resume business. Our goal right now is to prepare the salon & our spaces to keep everyone safe & healthy. We will have a list of guidelines we will be following & will require clients to follow as well to share with you when we schedule your appointment.

On March 31, Gov. Greg Abbott signed Executive Order GA-14, ordering that people and businesses should follow CDC and Presidential guidelines by practicing good hygiene, environmental cleanliness, and sanitation, implementing social distancing, and working from home if possible.

Effective April 2, 2020, only essential services are allowed. Only people providing essential services are permitted to be out in public providing services. This new order prohibits services from being provided by persons licensed under Chapter 401, Sections 501-522, Health and Safety Code (Laser Hair Removal) and Chapters 455 (Massage Therapists), 1601 (Barbers), 1602 (Cosmetologists), and 1603 (Barbering and Cosmetology), Occupations Code.

Additional facilities are closed. Governor Abbott had previously closed massage establishments on March 20. Under the new order, barber and cosmetology shops regulated under Chs. 1601, 1602, and 1603, Occupations Code, and laser hair removal facilities regulated under Chapter 401, Sections 501-522, Health and Safety Code must close by 12:01 a.m. April 2, 2020. The order is in effect until April 30, 2020 and supersedes any city or county orders.

Unfortunately the time has come! We have been told that ES&S must close temporarily effective 3/26 8:00 a.m. until April 6th unless other wise notified! As much as all of us hate this news we know it is in the best interest of both our community and the well being of our associates within the salon! You may reach out to your stylist,nail technician, massage therapist, and esthetician personally with any questions you may have. Working together can and will shorten the duration of this disease! When this is behind us WE WILL BE WAITING ON YOU! Have faith! Stay strong and as a community we will get back to normal as quickly as possible! From all of us at ELITE Salons & Spas ! ❤️
