We are sooo curious! There are so many genres of dance out there. Have you been itching to try something new? Do you have one in mind?🤔
Comment a dance style you’re wanting to try!
Our Students are always pushing themselves to reach new and difficult movements. It makes us so proud to see our students get out of their comfort zones🤗
We have all heard the expression that progress happens outside of your comfort zone and that couldn’t be more true! ATDW strives to push dancers to their fullest potential and try new things often.
In what ways have you left your comfort zone lately?
The positive environment at ATDW creates the space for truth to be told and for the truth to be listened to. Dancers, when you’re feeling overwhelmed we want you to know that our space is that safe space you’ve been looking for to express your truth.

One of the most important things we can do as parents is to recognize the signs of burnout and help them manage it. Keep an eye out for changes in your dancers' passion and enthusiasm, increased fatigue, decreased focus and motivation, and physical or emotional exhaustion.
By being aware of these signs, you can guide them towards a healthy balance between dance and rest. Let's work together to ensure a fulfilling and successful dance journey for our kids!
Life is like a performance and the 3 simple things you can do to shine are hydrate, breathe, and smile! We’d like to think you can get through some really challenging things when you use our 3 step method. Try it!

Remember that rest is just as important as practice!
You’ve got this! ✨✌️
It’s reliving how refreshed you might feel after chatting with your number one dance supporter. Dancers all around might be carrying a weight that they’re not even aware of until a guardian, a parent, or a grandparent steps in to have that conversation.
Here’s your sign to take that first step and encourage a conversation with your dancer ✨❤️
Burnout can be VERY real and for some dancers, they may not even know that they're facing it! Knowing some of these signs could eliminate your burnout so you can be back to dancing to your fullest potential in no time! 💃🔥🕺
What are your favorite ways to take a break? 🧘
Sometimes we get anxious and on edge because we’re worried about our goals, but have you considered that you may be worried because you haven’t checked in with your goals for awhile? Do yourself a favor and reflect on your goals. It may make a world of a difference for you.
Getting back into the swing of things after a break can be tough, but it's important to ease into it and not push yourself too hard. Start by having a great warm up and cool down before and after class or rehearsal!
Moving and staying active is essential for the creative mind. Dancers, take a break from choreography and improvise your own movements. You'll be surprised at the ideas that come to mind!
We continue to celebrate the contributions made by women to the Arts, Education, Science, Sports, Entertainment, Politics, and the lives of children everywhere. Each story, each struggle and challenge helping to build legacies of strength, inspiration and resiliency. Celebrate the Women in your life - let them know how much they mean to you and how they've impacted your life.
When you’re as passionate about dance as we are here at ATDW, you understand how difficult long breaks from the studio can be! Here’s your friendly reminder to stop and take a DANCE BREAK whenever you’re missing class🕺
Our Summer 2023 Schedule is now available for registration! REGISTER AT LINK ABOVE
We will still be adding programs for our youngest dancers shortly!
We Have TWO Summer Musicals for the 7-14 year age group: We will be presenting both, Seussical, the Musical and Annie
We are also very excited to offer a Triple Threat Camp and Broadway Showcase for the 7-18 year old age groups.
We are also working on a JUNE/JULY/AUGUST Schedule for summer evening classes for our committed dancers who understand that summer is a great time to move forward with their technique and whom wish to lock in their gains from training hard during the entire school year by training weekly through the summer and whom may or may not be available or interested in camp. SO, look for that schedule to be released shortly as well.
And, for our High School and College aged Students and Alumni - we will be presenting a TYA show this summer and we want you to be part of it.
It will rehearse 3x a week (Monday/Wednesday and Friday evenings) from 7/10-8/13 - the SHOW IS: TBA
We have a lot planned and we cannot wait to share it with you!
Dancers and parents of dancers, remember that breaks are not only for rest but also for reflection! Take the time to evaluate your progress and set new goals for the future. Make a plan for how you will execute those goals when you get back from taking time off!
Making rest a priority can be tough, but it's essential for dancers to perform at their best. Try setting a bedtime routine and sticking to it, even on days off. You’ll be AMAZED at how great you feel when you practice a little TLC ✨✌️
Did you know? Rest does wonders for the body and mind. It helps repair muscles, reduce stress, and improve focus. Make sure your dancer is getting enough rest to reach their full potential!
How will you rest today?💤
You'll drop anything to make sure they can attend their rehearsals, auditions, or performances; you’re this biggest supporter! You’re their guardian, their parent, their grandparent and you wear your dance guardian hat proudly. You'll do anything to help them follow their dreams and succeed and we love you for it ✨❤️
Being a dance parent can be both rewarding and challenging. And one of the biggest differences is having two different groups of friends - your dance parent friends who understand the craziness of the dance world and your non-dance parent friends who may not quite get it. But either way, you love and appreciate both groups for their own unique qualities.
If you live with dancers, then you know the struggle of constantly finding hair ties and bobby pins scattered all over the house. From the bathroom counter to the kitchen table, it seems like these small accessories have a mind of their own. But hey, it's just a small price to pay for living with talented and passionate dancers! Share this post if you can relate!

Dance nights can be HARD!
✅ Run home after school > eat as quickly as possible.
✅ Pack the dance bag (probably forget a shoe)
✅ Get out the door with ZERO minutes to spare
See your child light up from their favorite night of the week… ✅
Do your dance nights feel like this? 🙋♀️🙋♂️
Happy Birthday to ATDW’s Owner and Artistic Director Jerome! If you see him at the Studio today wish him a fabulous Birthday!!
Our parents make time for dinner… even if it’s a little later on a dance night! Being a dance parent means embracing the chaos and making it all part of the fun. Whether it's late dinners or weekend rehearsals, you know it's all worth it to see your little dancer shine on stage.
ADULT DANCERS - Come Dance like a Broadway Star with our Co-Owner and Co-Artistic Director, Broadway Vet - JEROME VIVONA - ADULT THEATER JAZZ - Thursday night 6:30pm-8:00pm. Put your dance shoes, and yourself, in the car and get on over to ATDW and let's dance! Can't Wait to See you!

It's so comforting to love where you dance. But, a building does not make a dance studio. The reason it's so comforting is because of our fabulous dance families and their dancers! Thanks for making ATDW lovable ❤️
Share some love to that dancer who is always there for you. We want to fill you in on a secret… your friends love it when you tell them how much they mean to you. Try it! ❤️
This goes out to anyone feeling challenged by dance. Rounding out the month, we want to encourage you to embrace your love of dance and remind you to think and reflect on why you love to dance. Maybe it’s the physical activity, maybe it’s because you can express yourself, or maybe it’s friends - whatever it is, embrace it! ✌️✨
There will always be ways to become more generous. Whether it's a big or small act, you have the potential to make a huge impact. Let's do what we can and express generosity any chance we get! ✌️
What ways do you see dancers being generous at ATDW? 👯
There is always something to be happy and grateful about! Gratitude and generosity are just two of the factors that bring smiles to our faces at ATDW.
What’s something that’s making you smile today?
Every day at ATDW we are presented with endless opportunities to be kind, generous, and positive. If we have the chance to make someone’s day, we might as well take it!
How will you make an impact today?
