Question for all my readers out there. Would you rather have a book flow naturally or would you rather have your chapters all start on the right page?

Contemplating the idea of going live on Friday to read a chapter from “Magnolia Reckoning”. I wonder if anyone would tune in for something like that

Great news! "Stolen Magnolia" is finally through the first editorial phase. Now to read the book again, make more adjustments if necessary, and then go through the second editorial phase before contemplating the cover work and also need to write the synopsis for Amazon and the back cover.

Does anyone use KDP for their children's books? I use Google Docs for my writing, and since I'm self-published, I'm getting my work out through KDP. But I want my page set up to be 11"x8.5", so I'm turning my pages 90 degrees. Fingers crossed the copy coming is right, otherwise its back to the drawing board and extending the release date for my newest children's book, "For Duty But Not For Me"

March 15th the ebook version of Magnolia Reckoning was released. Since then my debut novel is currently sitting at a 4.0/5.0 star rating on goodreads and is #193 in 19th century historical fiction in the kindle store!! I’m grateful for every bit of what’s come with this journey and can’t wait to see what more will come.

A prototype came in today!!!! Question is, if I did a voiceover of an excerpt of the book and made a reel what would you want to hear?

Preparing for a big move back to the West Coast has definitely put a momentary damper on writing. This is exciting for us, and I can't help but think about the children's book I wrote, Buddy By My Side, and the little girl who is moving across the country. What made you want to be a writer? -- Honesty, I never thought I'd be a writer. I like to tell stories, and I wrote several short stories when I was younger, but never once did I think that one day I would try to self-publish a book and see it become something people actually want to read. The author/reading community has been so kind, and I've received a lot of encouragement. I know the books I write may not be for everyone, but for those who enjoy the books, I will count those as a win for me.
