Yesterday we (The GIRLS Group) had our Prom dress & suit giveaway called “Just In Time” at the Pearson Community Center. I just need to say God is good. I said Lord if we get 50 kids at the event it will be a success in my eyes and I will be happy. We had about 200 kids attend the event. We successfully provided prom attire for at least 190 kids. I would like to thank the dream team Joseph Tanner, Carmen Tanner, SheriAmora Carriere, and Pat Pelton Moore thank you for all your hard work, patience and vision without you all there would be no GIRLS Group. Thank you to our volunteers: Bobby Sumler, Crystal, Dajanay, Sonia, Eric and Kristen we truly appreciate you all, you guys were a blessing. Thank you to our partners Bradley (Devthabarber), Reflections Beauty Bar, 702 Bella Beauty Bar, Bolt Beauty Supply, Gorjussfaces and Impeccable Style Events thank you all for putting smiles on the kids faces.
