“A primary reason we use Tracking Pads is reduced environmental impact. Digging out rock for a typical tracking pad at the end of a project, especially if rock was added several times during the project, leaves a big scar that needs significant restoration. Tracking Pads can be picked up with minimal restoration required, if any. Secondarily, Tracking Pads are relatively easy to relocate and expand or reduce entrances.”
