Last week, we hosted our COhatch company retreat in our new Middlebury House on our Powell campus. Over two days, we brought our team together from across our markets to discuss how we can better serve our members, align on our strategic goals for the year ahead, and to get to know each other better in a relaxed environment that didn’t just feel like another day at the office.
Day 1: We started with a full group discussion in Hall’s Corner in COhatch, and then took advantage of the Middlebury backyard on a gorgeous day for an outdoor strategy session. At the end of the day, we enjoyed with an interactive cocktail social led by Lani’s very own mixologist, Joy, followed by a menu tasting led by Chef Michael. You have to try the Tuna Tartare!
Day 2: Rain set in on day two, but Middlebury’s indoor spaces gave our team plenty of room for breakout sessions. Each of the rooms has whiteboard, TVs, and supplies to facilitate discussions. Fortunately, the sun was back in time for our family BBQ on the back deck, though like any good family meal, there was a lot of conversation happening around the kitchen island.

This campus will also feature a brand-new 14,000-square-foot COhatch headquarters, a restaurant concept, and outdoor kiosks for weekend markets.
