Columbus Blessing Boxes Project
Leave what you can, take what you need. Items are anonymously donated and anonymously received. A simple rule applies - Leave what you can, take what you need.
Blessing Boxes are outdoor cabinets in public places that are stocked with non-perishable food items, basic toiletries, baby supplies, and anything else that might be considered a blessing to someone who finds themselves in need.

Our Blessing Box needs a little help. It’s nearly empty, and our backup supplies are gone.
You can donate non-perishable food items in person at:
📍 81 Liberty St., Etna, OH 43018-0188
Too far away or short on time? Shop our Amazon wishlist and items will be delivered to the Grant family, then placed in the box on your behalf. Photos will be shared so you can see your kindness in action!

Food insecurity doesn’t always look the way people expect.
Studies show that adults facing food insecurity often skip meals or reduce their portions so their children can eat, especially in the days leading up to payday. Many families don’t qualify for food bank assistance, or hesitate to seek help due to stigma.
Sometimes, all it takes is one “bad month.”
A layoff. An unexpected car repair. A medical bill. An injury at work.
Suddenly, families are forced to choose between buying food and paying bills.
This is why the Columbus Blessing Boxes Project exists, to help bridge that gap, quietly and with dignity, when it’s needed most.
❤️ The best way to support our mission is by adding non-perishable food, baby items, and hygiene supplies directly to any of our Blessing Boxes when you’re able.
🛒 Prefer to donate from home? You can also purchase needed items through our Amazon Wish List, which helps us restock boxes across our community. http://a.co/6B5ih5J
Thank you for continuing to show up for your neighbors. Every item makes a difference. ❤️
