Santa Nick

For the last few years I have worked for Cherry Hill, which places many Santas across the country - 2 years at Indian Mound Mall in Heath, and the last 2 years at Polaris Fashion Place Mall, north of Columbus. But, Polaris has been sold, and Chery Hill does not have a contract with the new Owner. So, it looks like this year I will be back on my own, lining up home visits and corporate events.

Santa Nick to little boy: How old are you?
Little boy: "Wait!" Then, to Grandma: How old was I before my birthday?"
Grandma: "You were 5."
Little boy, to Santa Nick: "I'm 6!"

A little girl told me her favorite Christmas song is Rudolph. "Did you know there is another reindeer whose name is hidden in that song?" I asked. "There is?" she asked. "Yes," I advised: "Olive." "Olive?" she asked, So I sang, "Olive, the other reindeer, used to laugh and call him names.."
"Oh, I always thought is was 'all OF the other reindeer...'" she said.
"Well," I said, "I can see that you're a stickler for details. And, technically, you're right -- but you're ruining my joke!"

Tomorrow I will begin my FT Santa appearances at Polaris Fashion Place mall. 11-7 weekdays, 10-6 on weekends. All private appearances will have to be either end by 10:00 a.m. or in the evenings.

Just finished 2 days in Christmas Professionals Workshop. I'm spent!

Attending a Santa Workshop this weekend, starting at 6:00 p.m. tonight, ending 5:00 p.m. Sunday.

This year (as I did last year), I will be appearing as Santa at Polaris Fashion Place Mall, from November 14 until Christmas Eve.

Got a call today for a post-Christmas Santa visit. Unfortunately, I got my annual beard trim Tuesday, so no one would recognize me as Santa now. On the plus side, I'll have 3-4 months of not having to comb the beard. It'll grow back in plenty of time for next season.
