With An American Story: New Beginnings, you'll be taken on a musical and visual journey through the lives of our ancestors, with original music composed and performed by the quartet members. Also hear a world premiere by Erberk Eryılmaz and a work by Steven Snowden.
We also invite you to our 20th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, May 23 at 4:45 PM - at WOSU Public Media following the 3 PM concert!

For our season finale concerts on May 23 & 24, we're thrilled to present the world premiere of Erberk Eryılmaz's Günü Yaşa ve Dansı Hisset (Carpe Diem and Feel the Dance), a 15 for 15 commission.
Turkish-American composer and performer Erberk Eryılmaz is recognized for bringing the energy of the traditional music of his homeland to the concert stage with a creative and dramatic approach. CDSQ's and Eryılmaz's album, "Dances of the Yogurt Maker," won a 2022 GRAMMY Award with producer Judith Sherman and received two gold medals at the Global Music Awards.

We're excited to perform the world premiere of Michael Rene Torres' "in the never-ending shore of your tomorrows" this weekend in Columbus, OH! The piece, to be preceded by a poem by Jennifer Hambrick, is part of CDSQ's 15 for 15 commissioning initiative.
