Do you use gabapentin for analgesia in your clinic? There's some evidence that the idea of using gabapentin for pain (specifically, post-operative pain) might not have any scientific basis and is just good marketing by the drug companies. Gabapentin also has a murky history when it comes to drug marketing - did you all know about the $430 million lawsuit against Pfizer, for marketing the drug for uses that were not FDA-approved? What do you all think? (And while the "dogs naturally" link is opinion-based, it contains some good info and links, such as to the Pfizer lawsuit.)
