We looked back and missed it — Hadestown has slipped away from Columbus already! 🎭✨
A story that will be told again and again, Hadestown brings to light an interpretation of the Greek myth about the love between Orpheus and Eurydice through musical narration infused with the rhythm and style of American folk, bluegrass and blues with New Orleans jazz.
The cast showcased an incredible range of vocal talent throughout the production, from Nickolaus Colón’s commanding, thunderous performance as Hades to Hawa Kamala’s emotionally charged vocals as Eurydice.
With captivating commentary on the ways of the world and doing what it takes to survive, the show brings love back to life through song, even if it’s just for a moment. ❤️
If you missed Hadestown, you’re in luck! Broadway Columbus has one last show this season: Water for Elephants, June 9–14 at the Ohio Theatre.
