Had a great Saturday of riding with fellow horsemen and women at our March Horseman gathering. This time I invited some photographers to come connect with horse people and let them practice their photography skills. Thank you , , and for coming and capturing some great moments!

Had a quick ride at first light to check my in my .girlz Girlz hackamore.

Gettin ranchy show. High point open and amateur for the show. High point open for the series, reserve champion amateur for the series. We have prepared all season and I’m very proud of the rides we made, and looking forward to continue in our journey.

Just horsing around all weekend. Spent Saturday representing SCOPE Mounted Patrol at the National Night Out celebration at the Spokane Valley Mall. Today I went to the North Idaho State Fair Open Horse Show ranch horse show and did well. I enjoy testing my horsemanship and seeing how we ride under the pressure. We did better than last year, and we will continue to fix, tweak, educate, and prepare.

I had an amazing time riding with Steve Rother last week. First he has some of the friendliest people, he teaches clear communication, and everyone I’ve met at camp has left with big positive changes in their horse. My rides have improved to the point that I’ve been consistent 1st and 2nd place at the shows, and my trail rides have been much more enjoyable.

So happy with the show last weekend. We will take that momentum and just build on it.
