I don't talk about my work often (I'm kind of grateful I don't need to), but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't insanely proud of what we created at the all new RedWhiteAndBOOM.org.
Really happy to be a part of the Red, White & BOOM Columbus team!

I haven't told many people this yet, but I was given the opportunity to join the racing team in 2024.
I'm super excited to continue smashing PRs in the water and can't wait to get longer triathlons under my belt this year!

The three best decisions I've ever made:
1. In 2018 I quit my job and started my own business
2. In 2019 I quit drinking
3. In 2023 I learned how to swim

4 years sober.
I’m crazy lucky to have never gotten arrested. To have never gotten into a drunken brawl, to have never killed (let alone hurt) anyone, to have never so much as ruined anyone’s life during my bouts with alcohol.
Counting the number of nights I drove home after five too many would hurt my head. Counting the nights I blacked out into oblivion would break me.
But I didn’t have a problem.
Let that one sink in, because it’s probably a tale you’re familiar with. If not one you’ve told yourself, then surely they’re words you’ve heard bouncing around the booths of your favorite tavern.
Quitting drinking was never meant to be a permanent solution. It wasn’t even meant to be a solution, it was a challenge. I dared myself to quit for a year to see what would happen. I wanted to see just how good life could be without alcohol influencing me.
I was blown away by what happened next.
