On this day 8 years ago I was given the biggest blessing I’ve ever had, I’m thankful for you son, you made me a man, you made me understand what it means to provide, you gave me a reason to live, lords knows what I was into when I was 17, if I would’ve died when I got shot, none of this would’ve happened but God told me it’s not my time and he gave me you, I found purpose when I looked into yo eyes for the first time, I never forced you to be a good kid… you just was, I never forced you to be smart, it was just in you, ik I’m not perfect ik I let my pain get to me n it forced me to spend time away from you cuz I didn’t want you to see daddy hurtin n that’s my fault but I’m yo father n I’m forever thankful to hold that position in your life , whenever I needed love you never failed me, you different kid you deserve the world , you deserve more than what I have to offer, n I won’t stop until ik you proud of me , you’ve seen me be up so many times, you’ve also seen me at my lowest so many times but you always had faith in me , you always was proud to call me yo dad. when ya mother left I never tripped cuz i knew I had a family that could help me show you real love…my mother, my granny, my cuzin my brothers all helped me raise you to the young man you are and I couldn’t be more thankful to have such a Wonderful family, we not perfect but we all we got, I’m honored to have such a precious soul to call my son … i love you kid, keep Makin daddy proud , happy birthday.
