Meet the Musicians!

🎻 Corey is our violist and sometimes violinist for the string duet
🎻She started piano at 4 and the violin at 8
🎻 At 10, she picked up Irish, Old Time Fiddle, and Bluegrass styles eventually teaching at a fiddle camp and placing in competitions
🎻Corey played and coached with the Chamber Music Connection, a nationally recognized program
🎻 She studied viola during her time at Otterbein University’s School of Music serving as the orchestra’s principal
🎻She's played with various orchestras, quartets, pit orchestras, rock and bluegrass bands
🎻 Her favorite pieces are Dancing Queen and My Girl

When she's not playing with the BSQ Corey can be found knitting, making bread or going on trail runs

🎻Philip started playing cello at ten but began his music studies on the piano when he was five
🎻 He has a Bachelor’s of Music in Choral and Instrumental Music Education with a focus on String Pedagogy
🎻 Philip has played internationally in Japan, and Hungary
🎻 He is the musical director at Duxberry Park Arts IMPACT
🎻 His favorite piece of music to play is Etta James's At Last

🎵When he's not playing with us he is actively involved in multiple chorals and musical ensembles

🎻Amy starting playing violin at the age of 10
🎻She kills it on fiddle
🎻When she's not playing with us she's performing with the Central Ohio Symphony
🎻 She also teaches private and group lessons through Suzuki Music Columbus
🎻 Amy loves playing classical and pop, her fav is Sweet Child of Mine

🥾 During her free time, you’ll often catch her hiking, or backpacking.

🎻Caitlin is our first violinist. She is an amazing musician, can improvise just about anything and loves to play almost any pop piece but especially Sweet Child of Mine
🎻 Caitlin graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in Music Education and a Master's in Music Education from OSU
🎻She works with the Weaver Middle School and Davidson High School
🎻Her perfect night spent with is her dog Bella 🐶
