I've been reconsidering whether a page is suitable for representing our collective, mainly because it isn't facilitating the contributions or participation I'd hoped. Posts appearing to come from the page itself rather than the people who wrote them, and only admins being able to add content or allow others permission probably aren't helping.

I'd like to move everything to an ele_mental Facebook *group* with the core members as admins and allow anyone and everyone to contribute photos and posts. I'll give you all a week or so to let me know what you think. -RAMos

Late to the Prince party...no personal stories to tell about The Purple One except loving his music. Coming of age in the '80s near Cleveland gave me the distinct privilege of listening to multiple urban radio stations during the rise of rap, Art Of Noise-inspired beatbox music, and electro-funk (or, as I used to call it, "Jheri Curl" funk.)

93FM and WDMT's willingness to play the more diverse and– let's be honest– raunchier cuts from his albums, B-sides and protegés gave me a much broader perspective on his music.

ele_crew members will remember how I managed to drop this track into just about every set I played once I started DJing events. It's nuts how one of his random B-sides would be a landmark release for any other artist. Prince was just that good. -RAMos
